Itinerary


Day 1


Departure 8:00 towards 80km from Ndjamena to Douguia

Further 35 km, the site of the Hadjer Lamis (Elephant Rocks) is a mountain formation in granite formed silently into shapes like an elephant. Enjoy a picnic-style lunch today on the bank of the river. 

The village of Douguia is typical with its earthen houses style spanning from Sudanese to Nigerienne and Libyan inspirations and styles. At the narrow streets leading to the banks of the Chari River, the women and children are engaged in daily household activities along the river. Relax and around 16h return to N'djamena.

Day 2: N'Djamena City Tour

Today you will visit the city of N'Djamena, highlights will include the colorful market, the National Museum, the cathedral, the Great Mosque, and the artisanal center. Get a taste of culture, the capital, and life in Chad.
